Winning recipes of the food loss recipe contest
Overview
This page presents the nine winning recipes of the most recent Itabashi recipe contest against food loss, chosen from 82 entries. A document review and a vote of ward recycling promoters made the first selection, and a tasting panel set the prizes. The recipes use leftover vegetables, crackers, mochi and vegetable parts usually thrown away. Each entry gives the ingredients, the method and the reason it reduces food loss.
