These are the terms of use of Cityglot (cityglot.com). By using the site you accept them. They are a plain-language description, not legal advice.

What the site is

Cityglot collects notices, events, support programs and guide pages from the official websites of Tokyo wards, and writes short summaries and translations of them in your language. It is an independent website. It is not run by, or connected to, any ward or government office.

Content is automatic and the official page is the reference

The summaries and translations are produced automatically by AI from the official pages and can be wrong, out of date or incomplete. Every item links to the official page, which is the reference. Check dates, places, fees, eligibility and deadlines there before you act, and contact the ward office for anything that matters, such as a procedure, a payment or a deadline. Disaster information on the site is a convenience: in an emergency, follow the official channels and the instructions of the authorities.

No warranty

The site is provided as it is, free of charge, without any promise that it is correct, complete, always available or fit for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss that comes from relying on the site or from the site being unavailable. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.

Using the site

• Use it for yourself and do not try to break it, overload it or collect it in bulk. Do not use it to send spam or false reports.
• Keep your sign-in private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• We may change or stop the site, or close an account that is misused.

Content and links

The original notices belong to the wards and other authorities that publish them. Our summaries and translations are provided for your information. The site links to official pages and to other sites; we do not control those and are not responsible for them.

Report a problem

If something is wrong or outdated, use the Report a problem button on the item. You can also write to [email protected]. Reports are checked against the official page and the item is corrected or removed when needed.

Changes

When these terms change, the date at the top changes too. If you keep using the site after that, you accept the new terms.
