Overview

If you think the share of medical costs you pay at the counter is wrong, the Benefits Section of Itabashi's National Health Insurance can check it. Under school age you pay 20 per cent; up to age 69, 30 per cent; ages 70 to 74 normally 20 per cent, or 30 per cent at a higher income. Medical costs also have a ceiling set by income. Have ready your name, date of birth, address, insurance number, phone number, visit date, clinic details and the amount paid. Other health insurance members must ask their own insurer.
