Medical care without a My Number insurance card
Overview
Explains what to show at hospitals and pharmacies to receive care. Members who registered their My Number card for health insurance show the card. Members who have no card, or who have not registered it, show the certificate of eligibility issued by their health insurance. National Health Insurance members show the certificate issued by Itabashi Ward. Members of the late-stage elderly medical insurance system, aged 75 and over, show the certificate issued by the regional federation, and every member of that system receives this certificate whether or not they have a card.
