Reduced or waived fees for bulky and household waste
Overview
Fees for household waste can be reduced or waived for people who receive public assistance, a child-rearing or special child-rearing allowance, an old-age welfare pension, or support for Chinese war returnees. Households hit by a major disaster such as a storm, heavy rain, an earthquake or a fire can also ask for a reduction. Volunteers who clean public places can request a volunteer sticker. The reduction depends on each case, so ask the reception centre or your cleaning office before you apply.
