Guide Family supportTopic: Pregnancy and birth
  • Parents and pregnancy

Overview

Pregnancy interview with a health professional, at your district's health and welfare centre, at the ward's Health Promotion Section, or online. It covers health during pregnancy, childcare and the support services available. You can book the pregnancy notification and the interview together. The interview takes about 30 to 40 minutes and gives access to the Itabashi Childcare Package as an e-gift. Book with the form for your district, or by phone for interviews less than three days away.

  • Registration required

Who can attend

  • Partners are welcome to come too; a pre-papa interview is also held.
  • Reception is on weekdays from 8:30 to 16:30.
  • The interview takes about 30 to 40 minutes, and up to about one hour depending on the discussion.
  • Women who move out of Itabashi should contact the municipality they move to.
  • Pregnant women who have the interview receive the Itabashi Childcare Package as an e-gift.

The e-gift cannot be reissued, so keep it safe. If you receive it twice, you must return one. The ward has received many enquiries about e-gifts lost after a phone change: save or back up the data before changing your smartphone.
