Premium reduction for the pregnancy and childbirth period
Overview
Insured members who give birth can have their National Health Insurance premium reduced for the pregnancy and childbirth period, which covers four months. The reduction is made on notification: the insured member files a notification form with the ward. Who is eligible, and how to file, is explained on the linked premium reduction page. A leaflet about the reduction is attached to this page as a PowerPoint file.
