My wardsLimit certificate for under 70s
Overview
A limit certificate lets you pay only up to your monthly limit at the hospital, instead of paying the full cost first and claiming later. Tax-paying households receive the limit certificate; tax-exempt households receive a limit and meal-cost certificate, which also lowers hospital meal costs. Apply in advance at the benefits section or by post. It is valid from the first day of the month of application. A My Number insurance card works without it.
