Bone-setter clinics under National Health Insurance

Overview

National Health Insurance covers bone-setter treatment only for some injuries: acute bruises, sprains and strains from an injury, and fractures or dislocations with a doctor's consent. Shoulder stiffness, back pain or fatigue from daily life, massage after recovery, long treatment of chronic or nerve pain, and sports fatigue are not covered. Work injuries fall under workers' accident insurance. Tell the bone-setter how the injury happened, fill in the claim form yourself and keep every receipt. The ward may check the treatment with you later.
