Flood hazard map for your home

Overview

The ward's flood hazard map shows the areas that could flood, the expected depth of water and the evacuation shelters. It is based on the largest expected rainfall for Suginami: 153 mm an hour and 690 mm in total. The March 2026 revision includes a version with colours suited to colour-blind readers. The page also explains how to prepare a personal evacuation timeline, lists the 23 designated shelters, and gives advice on actions by danger level.
