My Number card as health insurance card

Overview

Explains how to use a My Number card as a health insurance card, here called the My Number insurance card. Registering is optional. Once registered, the card shows your insurance details at hospitals and pharmacies, and high-cost medical care limits apply without a separate certificate. It also helps in emergencies and simplifies medical expense deductions at tax time. Register at a hospital or pharmacy counter, on the My Number Portal, or at a Seven Bank ATM. You can cancel the registration by applying to your insurer.
