Cityglot

Overview

Scammers pretend to be ward staff and say that your premium has changed or that you are owed a refund for overpaid medical costs, then try to get you to operate an ATM. Ward staff never do this, and refunds are never paid through an ATM. Ward staff do not ask for bank account numbers out of the blue, except to check documents you have already sent. If you receive a suspicious call, contact the ward office or the nearest police station: Itabashi, Shimura or Takashimadaira. The page lists the phone number of each station.
