Disaster prevention talks for groups

Support program DisasterTopic: Preparedness

Overview

The ward's disaster prevention section gives free talks to local disaster prevention groups, neighbourhood associations and other groups. The talks cover the ward's disaster measures, such as its evacuation centres, and what each household can prepare at home. The talk is for groups of residents, workers or students of the ward that expect about ten or more people on the day, and it takes place within Suginami. From October to December, talks are not given on weekends and public holidays, because evacuation centre drills take place then.
