About flood hazard maps and inundation forecast maps

Overview

Explains the ward's flood hazard map, called Flood hazard map for your home, which is based on Tokyo's inundation forecast maps for the Kanda River basin and the Jonan district rivers. The maps show flooding for the largest rainfall that could be expected, 153 mm per hour, and include areas flooded through sewers. The ward has not made designated maps for inland flooding or storm surges. The Tokyo Disaster Prevention app shows flood depth, and paper copies of the map are available at the ward office and resident offices.
