Monthly Tuesday evening counter for moves and residence registration (fiscal 2026)
Overview
Once a month on a Tuesday evening, the Oji and Akabane civic offices stay open late for moving-in, moving-out and address-change applications. The counter also handles the related national health insurance enrolment or loss, and seal registration. My Number card procedures without a move are handled by the My Number card unit. Applications from overseas, or those that need checks with other municipalities, are not accepted. Certificates are issued too. Public payments are taken with a payment slip, but not at the Oji office.
