Daruma no kai, a parents' group for families of children with Down syndrome

Overview

A parents' group for families raising a child with Down syndrome. Members meet to share worries and information. Only residents of the ward can take part. Children who are not yet at kindergarten may come along, but there is no childcare. Sessions are on 18 May, 14 September and 14 December 2026, and 8 February 2027, from 10:00 to 11:30 in the hall of the Kita Child Development Support Centre. Register on the online form at least five days before. The sessions are free, with no limit on places.
