Keeping collection points clean
Overview
The Itabashi East and West Cleaning Offices visit households and businesses that break the rules at collection points, such as wrong sorting or missing fee tickets, and give guidance in person. Their teams patrol the points and inspect the rubbish to find who put it out. They also give on-site advice on problem points and visit schools and nurseries for environmental lessons. Bird-proof nets are lent at the offices and at 18 local centres.
