Overview
The ward holds the Itabashi Peace Gathering on 9 November 2026, to make its 1985 peace declaration a lasting commitment. From 16:00 a parade carries the Itabashi peace flame, lit by combining flames from Hiroshima and Nagasaki, from the ward office to the Civic Cultural Hall. The programme has a reading of the declaration, reports from junior high school students on a peace trip, a film screening, and an exhibit of children's peace paintings and posters. Entry is free, with 1,000 places, first come, first served. The film has no audio guide or subtitles.

No booking is needed. Come to the hall; places are first come, first served, up to 1,000.
