Overview
The Itabashi Childcare Support App, run through the Boshi-mo service, helps parents record vaccinations and growth, find ward childcare information, search and book events, and consult online. The app is free to download, but the user pays the data charges for receiving information. Enter your ward postal code in your profile. Online consultations need a booking and an email address.

Supported devices
- iPhone and iPod touch: iOS 15.0 or later
- Mac: macOS 11.0 or later with an Apple M1 chip

Online consultation requirements
You need a computer with a microphone and speakers, a tablet or a smartphone running iOS 13 or later or Android 6.0 or later, and an email address. Computers must use the latest Chrome, Firefox or Safari; Internet Explorer is not supported.
Booking a childcare consultation (CAP'S children's hall staff)
- Tap 'Online consultation' in the app.
- Send an email with your preferred date and the required details.
- Within three business days the ward sends an 'online consultation invitation URL'; keep it until the day.
- On the day, tap the invitation URL at the booked time, then tap 'Enter'.
Booking a nutrition, dental or childcare consultation with a specialist
- Tap 'Online consultation' in the app.
- Make a provisional booking by phone first; the health and welfare centre in charge changes by month, so check it.
- Agree the date and time with the staff; an 'online consultation confirmation email' is then sent.
- Within five business days the ward sends the invitation URL; keep it until the day.
- On the day, tap the invitation URL at the booked time, then tap 'Enter'.

How to apply
- Search for Boshi-mo in the App Store or Google Play, and download it.
- Enter the postal code of your area in the profile.
- If you wish, register your child's details to receive suggestions matched to your child.
- For an online consultation, tap 'Online consultation' in the app.
