Child allowance status report, exclusion form B: what to do
Overview
This page is for people who received the child allowance status report notice marked exclusion form B (with exclusion form). Each year the ward checks recipients' situation as of 1 August. For this notice, the report is completed online: read the QR code on the notice, or use the link on the page, and answer by 31 August each year. Recipients with this notice must also report their work situation with the status report, as the notice explains. Other notices, such as the postal one, are handled on their own pages.
Deadline and filing
- Deadline: 31 August each year; if a weekend or holiday, the previous working day
- Online answers complete the status report
- If the QR code cannot be read, use the link for your notice
Without the report, payments stop from November. If there is no report for two years, the right to the allowance expires.
Common questions
- Late report: still reviewed, but payments stay suspended until the review is complete.
- Tax returns: file with the tax section of the ward where you were registered on 1 January; for Itabashi, 03-3579-2101.
- Dependants living at the same address must also file tax returns.
