2026 national survey of single-parent households
Overview
The national survey of single-parent households and households raising children without parents is run once every five years by the national government. Survey staff visit selected households from 1 to 30 November 2026 to explain the survey and leave a paper form, with a log-in ID and password for online answers. Answers can be sent by mail or online. The survey asks about housing, work, children, public welfare services used, problems and people to talk to. Results are expected around October 2027.
